Open Source is not the greatest thing in the world, but OpenOffice is certainly an awesome product.  The problem with open source is that you can't always get reliable support because there is not one single company accountable for providing it.  However, you can usually find some programmers to support it, but you are taking a risk.  sinus infection cures that work  I think in the long run there are only a handful of open source applications that are worth it - and they are the ones that have a HUGE list of followers, programmers and supporters such as OpenOffice, or MySQL for example.

I don't think schools are ready to accept the open source technologies as of now. But may be we can see changes very soon a technology can aid the teaching, learning process.
