My first question is do DLP HDTV's get dead LED's?  Similar to dead pixels on an LCD.  Can a dead LED be replaced or are they too small to do easily and cheaply?

And my question for DLP projectors is what steps do you have to take to make sure you get the color your supposed to out of your projector (will it look different projected on a pink as opposed to white painted wall, do you need to get a screen to keep color consistant?  Does ambient light change throughout the day affect the color you're seeing?  Light from skylights, windows, flourescent lights, incandescent, etc?)
