A new educational app, Awesome Upstanders!, is an anti-bullying game that helps kids understand the importance of respecting and protecting others using graphics and game play that emphasize how to intervene in a bullying situation in a positive manner.
Awesome Upstanders! is a simple side-scrolling adventure game where players race through their school to rescue a friend from a bully. The player collects other friends along the way, successfully defeating the bully when they have a big enough group to “stand up” to the bully together. It's available for $.99 cents via the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
