Students and teachers at John Adams Middle School in Edison, New Jersey use interactive Promethean education technology to enhance learning. The challenge to change education involves a team effort. It also involves looking at the learning environment in a different way.

I traveled to Edison Township to find out what Edison Township School District leaders are doing to make that happen. I discovered that the excitement for using new technologies is being led from the top by Superintendent Richard O’Malley, and backed by a positive and well-informed Board of Education. The Foundation is firm, as well, from John Adam’s Principal, Joan Valentine, and a staff that knows how to teach—with or without interactive devices—or wiring.
