Certification Map, an online resource which consolidates the teacher certification information for all 50 states into one site, has announced a contest to locate the best non-profits that focus on education. The winner will be awarded a $500 donation to his or her favorite non-profit education organization. Submissions are due by noon, August 3rd 2009.
To nominate a non-profit organization, write a blog post naming the Top 3 activities and contributions of a particular organization, and why its work is inspiring.
The winner will be chosen based on several variables, including potential impact of the organization, quality of posting, and passion for the non-profit demonstrated.
