DASH+, part of the Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE Education Program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, is an innovative new contest that challenges high school students to use their STEM skills to design the eco-friendly dashboard of the future. Three teams from Santa Barbara, CA, San Jose, CA and Dearborn, MI were named semi-finalists out of dozens of teams from across the country by an independent panel of expert judges.
Online voting at fuelourfuturenow.com/contest is open until Monday. The team with the most votes will win the Grand Prize trip to Detroit this summer where they will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to representatives from the automotive industry, receive feedback and meet competing teams in the Automotive X PRIZE competition
