The Siemens Foundation and Discovery Education, along with partners Oak Ridge Associated Universities and the College Board, announce the expansion of the Siemens Teachers as Researchers (STARS) program for 2012.
Prompted by the success of the program's first two years, this expansion will double the number of opportunities for educators to collaborate with some of the nation's leading scientists over the summer. Another professional development opportunity for educators is the Siemens STEM Institute, a weeklong immersion program that promotes hands-on, real-world integration of STEM in the classroom.
