Latitude 2100 Netbook Dell’s new Latitude 2100 netbook is designed with kindergarten through eighth-grade classrooms in mind. The device is built with a rubberized casement to protect it from juice spills on desks and backpack jostles. The outer lid is fitted with a Network Activity Light, or “tattletale light,” that flashes whenever a student is online. The hardware is fully customizable with five cover-color choices and extra options for an antimicrobial keypad, a touch screen, a three- or six-cell battery and a choice of operating systems.
