Name: Computing Technology for Math Excellence

Brief Description of the Site:
This site is devoted to resources for teaching and learning mathematics (K-12 and calculus) and the standards movement in education. Math resources include software recommendations that claim to tie into efforts to raise student achievement levels. There is an extensive list of resources extending to journal lists, professional development, projects, and news updates regarding "No Child Left Behind" legislation.

How to use the site:
With many "How To" articles, educators can get a sense of material and activities around the nation. Many of the links lead to other sites outside ct4me.net but the site is a good clearinghouse for journals, standards, and project ideas. Educators will appreciate the resources on technology integration, project based learning, multimedia, national math initiatives, and professional growth
