Xerox has partnered with Rochester Software Associates to provide a scan-to-print shop solution that allows teachers and staff of the Blue Valley School District in Kansas to spend less time preparing materials in their buildings. Tests, reading packets, and study worksheets used to be transferred through inter-office mail to the print center to be copied. The new solution allows hard-copy documents such as tests and worksheets to be scanned in directly at Xerox MFPs located in all Blue Valley schools, and routed to the print center. This has resulted in turnaround times being cut in half, while the number of orders to the district’s print center has been doubled.
