Who says learning math can't be fun? Not the competitive young learners in Mr. Cesar's math class at Brockton High School in Brockton, MA. They beat other classes across the country to win Apangea Learning's March Madness math competition for math problem solving.
 
The 15 students in Mr. Cesar's class each solved an average of 946 math problems during March. The Emmanuel sisters, both in Mr. Cesar's class, topped the list. Wecjeanie Emmanuel solved 3,939 math problems to become Apangea's Northeastern Math MVP in the competition while Wecjad Emmanuel solved 2,600 problems.
 
This year, more than 41,000 students nationwide participated in the March Madness competition.
