The lucky few who scored an invitation to test Google+ got a sneak peek at Google’s take on social media. Some features built into Google+ that might make for good classroom applications include:

¦ Circles: Share items with a targeted group of people.
¦ Sparks: Get videos and articles about stuff you’re into sent directly to you.
¦ Hangouts: Pop in and out of video hangouts anytime, from anywhere.
