Today's Newslettter: Edtech and the Election

As we wade waist deep into election season, I find myself searching harder for substantive issues regarding education technology from either campaign. This Fortune analysis pretty clearly lays out the case for Clinton. In the spirit of objectivity, I did a deep Google dive into “Trump” and “edtech” with negligible results. One advantage to being a train ride away from Philadelphia is that I will get a taste of the DNC on Wednesday when I attend a couple of related events—The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation is hosting the “DNC Policy Forum: How the Next Administration Can Foster Innovation, Boost Productivity, and Increase U.S. Competitiveness” and The Atlantic Monthly is hosting “Teaching for Tomorrow in the Creative Economy.”

I will be Tweeting along if you’d like to follow the conversations at our Tech&Learning Live site. —Kevin Hogan, Content Director
