EducationSuperHighway (ESH) offers a new guide intended to help superintendents understand basic network setup, bandwidth options, and budgeting strategies.
The free guide includes:
· Diagrams of basic network infrastructure
· General calculation for how to estimate bandwidth need
· Budgeting and timeline management tips
· Best practices for procuring services
ESH, a partner in the White House’s new Future Ready Schools Initiative, will also be sharing the guide and network upgrade information with superintendents involved in ConnectED roundtables planned throughout 2015.
