Class Tech Tips: Grammarly’s Online Plagiarism Checker for Teachers & Students

Yesterday I attended the iBooks Author Conference in Nashville and a panel presenter mentioned Grammarly. Grammarly has a plagiarism checking service available for teachers and students. This feature lets users copy and paste text or upload a file to check for plagiarism. The interface of Grammarly’s website makes it easy for any user to check for plagiarism, grammar, and even generate a citation.

Grammarly is a useful tool for teachers checking plagiarism of student work. At the iBooks Author Conference I heard one panelist mention how she used Grammarly to make sure her students hadn’t violated copyright before submitting their work to the iBookstore. Premium account users can access extra features by signing up for a K-12 subscription plan.
