Don't Flip your Lid!

Why is the lid of my iBook laptop pulling away from the bottom of the screen?

The new iBook laptops are great! They're lightweight and easy to use. However, many people are reporting that the lid and screen are separating from one another along the lower edge.

Avoiding this problem is simple. After releasing the catch to open the computer, grasp the lid on both sides down near the hinged side rather than at the top, and then raise the lid gently.

Teach this technique to office staff, teachers, and students to keep laptops in tip-top shape and save repair costs.
