PDQ (Professional Development QuickTips)

Source for Digital Resources

Category: Digital Content

Tip:
Teachers often lack the time to find good educational web sites to use in their lessons. One resource they can use is called eThemes.

eThemes are lists of URLs that have been checked by education graduate students on specific topics that have been requested by teachers. Anyone can search the database of themes by keyword, grade level or subject.

  • Even though these sites were evaluated at one time, teachers should be responsible to review each of the sites before using them.
  • Remember, the Internet changes too quickly.
  • The themes are created as a resource for teachers rather than a way for teachers to give students a list of links on a topic
