Name: Musicians United for Songs in the Classroom

Brief Description of the Site:
The M.U.S.I.C. web site offers teachers a variety of resources on how lyrics affect who we are. In addition to a database of 2700 song titles, teachers and students will find classroom strategies, links, discussion opportunities and a gallery of student artwork as it relates to the lyrics they have studied.

How to use the site:
The Classroom Strategies & Links page contains a great deal of lesson ideas and links to other musical/lyrical resources. Opportunities to integrate music into core curriculum areas such as Language and Social Studies are offered.
