Final Contest Deadline: May 1, 2014
Tech & Learning's Awards of Excellence program has been recognizing outstanding ed tech products for over 30 years. With a solid reputation in the industry as a long-standing, high-quality program, the AOE recognizes both creative new offerings and significantly updated products that help educators in the business of teaching, training and managing with technology. All entries are given a rigorous test-driving by qualified educators in several rounds of judging. Products are also carefully screened by the T&L editorial team. Evaluation criteria include the following: quality and effectiveness, ease of use, creative use of technology, and suitability for use in an educational environment.

Why You Should Enter Awards of Excellence

A few of you have asked: with all the different awards programs out there, why should I enter this one? Good question.

Unlike other awards programs for ed tech tools, Awards of Excellence puts each product through a rigorous evaluation by a panel of educator judges. The judges are the same type of expert educators and administrators who would use your products in their classrooms or districts. The judging process for Awards of Excellence takes several months and each winner is carefully chosen by the judging panel and Tech & Learning's editors.

Awards of Excellence is not a "pay-to-play" program. Although there is an entry fee, it simply covers the cost to run the program. Other similar contests bestow an award on every company that pays to enter their program. Not us. You truly earn your award because it is given a thorough evaluation and is selected by judges who are experts in their field.

April 8 is the extended early-bird deadline. Don't delay. Gather your software, hardware, apps, web-based and network-based products for entry into the contest. If you have any questions send us an email at AOE@nbmedia.com.
