Building a Content-Rich School Web Page (cont.)
Choosing a Topic
Take advantage of community resources. Some of the best content-rich Web pages focus on local historical societies' collections, such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars' reminiscences, special museums, or other organizations.
Arrange to interview, photograph, film, document, collect data, or do whatever it takes for you and your students to gather information on the topic.
Remember to keep bibliographic information for print materials, photographs, and oral interviews and include it on the Web pages. This information will be important for a researcher who may be using your Web site at a later date.
