School Site of the Month

April 2001

By Laura Pearl

Bellefonte Area School District's home page

Tucked inside the impressive bells and whistles on Bellefonte Area School District's home page is a well-organized network of pages including four elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. The district page contains information on job openings, athletics, and personnel, and it has a ticker at the bottom of the window that highlights new additions to the site. Also impressive is the middle school's home page, which features a photo of the school building encircled by links to faculty and club sites. With pages that are clean, well organized, and packed with information, Bellefonte Area School District sets a high standard for us all.

Laura Pearl is a fourth-grade teacher at Convent of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco.
