School Site of the Month

By Michelle Thatcher

Riverview Elementary School

Grade-level pages at the site for Riverview Elementary School in Vancouver, Wash. begin with a bulleted list of target skills, followed by teacher resumes, supply lists, homework assignments, tips for parents, and links to helpful Web sites. The cheery yellow and blue design is extremely well organized and easy to navigate, providing an excellent resource for parents and students who want to extend learning beyond the classroom.

Michelle Thatcher is managing editor of T&L.
