School Site of the Month

By Michelle Thatcher

North Pole H.S.

There may not be elves at North Pole High School, but there are talented students who design and maintain this appealing site. The students have successfully incorporated free Web resources (Yahoo! calendar and HomeworkNow.com) to keep the site up to date, and they've made sure that every department home page includes course descriptions, faculty e-mail addresses, Web resources, and student projects. Teachers and students can even search for library books through the online catalog or reserve computer labs with a Web form. If you're compiling your own Web wish list this holiday season, cozy up with some egg nog and spend some time at this stellar site.
