IP surveillance system to be awarded

D-Link, provider of high-end networking solutions, and Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) today announced the “Secure Your Schools” Grant Program, which will award a single qualifying school or district with a complete D-Link® IP surveillance system in the 2011-2012 school year.

The Secure Your Schools Grant is open to new or existing TCEA members that demonstrate a true need for IP-based surveillance and also have a network infrastructure in place to support the Grant hardware package. Applications can be submitted on D-Link’s grant application webpage , and will be accepted now through Dec. 31.

The Grant provides a complete end-to-end solution including nine IP cameras (seven indoor and two outdoor), a NVR (Network Video Recorder) for surveillance footage storage, video management software and a network switch.
