Today's Newsletter: Now/EDU Conference & Connected Educator Month

1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM
Today's most interesting edtech ideas are bursting from the State of Now/EDU Conference in New York City today and tomorrow (note to self: get invited next year!) Our Tech and Learning advisors are all over it: @chrislehmann, @shareski, @kylepace, @pjhiggins, and @InnovativeEdu arejust a few who are presenting and tweeting at a furious pace. My favorite nuggets so far: The World's Simplest Online Safety Policy, "date the tools, marry the abilities" @adambellow, and ages 10-13 is the cognitive "sweet spot" for reaching kids with science according to @josholalia. Not enough inspiration? Be sure to sign up for Connected Educator Month events, which start August 1st. We’ll be posting and pointing to highlights from both events throughout the month. —Kevin Hogan, Editorial Director
