Launch of secure Internet gateway for K-12 announced

Internet filtering and Web security vendor ContentKeeper Technologies have announced the U.S. launch of its new Secure Internet Gateway (SIG) solution at the Florida Education Technology Conference (FETC) 2013. 

The solution includes:
  • CIPA compliant filtering and reporting for desktops and mobile devices including smart phones and tablets on or off the school network.
  • Granular social media controls providing safe and secure use of social networking sites in the classroom.
  • Non-proxy based SSL/HTTPS decoding providing full scanning of web traffic and allowing proactive protection against anonymous proxies, cyber-bullying and unknown malware threats.
  • Advanced proactive analysis-based malware detection ensuring robust protection against new, previously unknown, Web-based threats immune to signature-based detection.
