The Virtual High School (www.thevirtualhighschool.org and ReadSpeaker (www.readspeaker.com) today announced that VHS has integrated ReadSpeaker’s text-to-voice technology into its course curriculum on the Desire2Learn platform.

ReadSpeaker’s integration with the Desire2Learn Learning Environment allows VHS students to have all course web pages and documents read to them. Individuals can also download audio files into an mp3 format and listen to them on iPads, iPhones and other mobile devices.

ReadSpeaker is especially useful for students who are below average readers or on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) due to learning or physical disabilities, such as dyslexia or visual impairments.
