Today at the 2014 National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Conference, Pearson introduced Virtual Nerd™ Mobile Math, a free math app that provides access to a video library of more than 1,500 math tutorials, aligned to the Common Core and other standards.

Virtual Nerd offers on-screen instructors and the ability to mark “favorite” videos. Schools using Pearson's Common Core math programs, Pearson High School Mathematics Common Core ©2015, Pearson Integrated High School Mathematics Common Core © 2014, and digits ©2015, can search the app by the program's table of contents.

Virtual Nerd Mobile Math requires iOS 6.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. An Android version will be available by fall 2014.
