EveryoneOn, Sprint Partner to Implement ConnectED Initiative

7/24/2014 12:00:00 AM

EveryoneOn, a nonprofit devoted to closing the digital divide, is working with Sprint to help implement the commitments that Sprint has made as part of President Barack Obama’s ConnectED initiative.

EveryoneOn and Sprint are focusing on a key component of ConnectED: providing low-income students with affordable home broadband.

In support of the White House’s ConnectED initiative, Sprint has committed itself to providing high-speed wireless broadband service for up to 50,000 students at schools across the country starting in August 2014 and over the next four years. Through their schools, these students will have access to the enhanced LTE Sprint Spark™ wireless broadband network outside the classroom – allowing them to take advantage of the mobile learning curriculum and resources of their educational institutions.
