These weeks don’t happen very often (ever?), though it would be great if they did. I was able to spend quality time with both Jim Marshall, the
CEO of Promethean World during meetings at
Ednet12 in Baltimore and then
Harold Levy, former New York City Chancellor of Public Schools, in a lead up to today’s
Hechinger Institute’s Digital Learning, Digital Teaching Seminar. Both men shared insights about the future of education technology that will guide T&L’s coverage going forward. I especially look forward to conversations today that will include favorite TL advisor
Lisa Nielsen as well as Micheal Horn, director of co-sponsor
Innosight Institute, who was selected as one of the original Most Influential Edtech leaders in 2010. You can follow the backchannel at #digitialed. —Kevin Hogan, Editorial Director
