TCI announced today that it will develop a new K-8 science program, Bring Science Alive!, to be aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

To learn more about NGSS and the impact they will have on science education, teachers and administrators can attend a free webinar on March 13 at 3:30 pm PT featuring Andy Shouse, associate director at the University of Washington Institute for Science and Math Education and TCI Advisory Board Member. More information and registration is available at https://teachtci.webex.com/teachtci/onstage/g.php?t=a&d=665600415

TCI’s Bring Science Alive! program has an anticipated release date of late 2014. Teachers interested in helping TCI create a program that is "by teachers, for teachers” can sign up to be in focus groups, test lessons, complete surveys and more at http://offers.teachtci.com/bring-science-alive-teacher-group
