Casio America, Inc’s Business Projector Division announces the Casio LampFree® Projector Education Grant, kicking off today, May 1, 2014 and ending December 31, 2014.

Administrators and faculty of public or private schools in the United States can enter Casio’s LampFree® Projector Education Grant for a chance to win one Casio Ultra Short Throw projector (model: XJ-UT310WN) for their school worth $2,000. One winner will be selected in each state.  Schools must offer the opportunity for students to write an essay discussing why mercury is harmful to the environment. Each school will then select the best essay to represent their school and submit it to the Casio’s LampFree® Projector Grant website.

Casio’s new Ultra Short Throw projector, the XJ-UT310WN, offers brightness up to 3100 lumens, WXGA resolution, a 0.28 throw ratio lens, 2GB of built-in memory, remote access from a smartphone and more.
