Sharp-eyed readers know Tech & Learning’s cover tagline is “Ideas and Tools for Edtech Leaders” (Go ahead, turn back. It’s right there next to the month and year.)

Our reporters, advisors, and editors cover that gamut every day: from the big-picture blog posts of T&L advisors to the nitty-gritty of product reviews of classroom tools, and everything in between.

This month expect a big boost in both departments as we revamp our SchoolCIO section online and in print. Our new contributing editor Ellen Ullman will lead this effort. Ullman has been writing about technology for 15 years, and specifically about edtech since 2003. Ullman penned two articles this month: “The New One-to-One” focuses on the ideas, and “Laptop Lessons” focuses on the tools. She will also be tracking district-level doings in SchoolCIO.

We’re also excited to announce a new location for this year’s Tech Forum events. Boston-area readers should pencil in April 8 for professional development. We’re also planning a second, virtual event for late spring/early summer. More details here: www.techlearning.com/events/techforum/index.
