In this webinar, you’ll hear about how some school districts are using technology to personalize learning with Android tablets. Dustin Hardin, Director of Technology at New Caney Independent School District will discuss why the district decided to adopt Google for Education devices, as well as the impact they are seeing from them.

New Caney ISD has had a three year journey from not having any wireless access in their 14 campuses to starting a 1:1 program with Chromebooks and Android tablets. This will include a brief overview of all the milestones in the three year period (moving from a legacy email system to Gmail, automating student accounts, etc.), and most importantly, how they afforded the 1:1 program.

New Caney ISD is 45 minutes north of Houston, TX. The district has over 12,000 students and is one of the fasting growing districts in the Houston metro area. Learn more about why New Caney ISD chose Google Chromebooks and tablets as their 1:1 devices.
