Question of the Week

Are you going global?

Countries around the world continue to gain ground on the United States when it comes to subjects such as math, science, and technical literacy. Looking beyond competition, foreign students looked destined to be the next generation's co-workers.

How important is global literacy to your everyday curriculum?
A) Very important--We try to build a global sensibility in our students on a daily basis through video chats and Internet-based discussion groups.

B) Somewhat important--We spend some time looking at world events and how it affects our student's lives, but nothing intense.

C) Not important--Sounds like a nice luxury but we need to focus on the basics.
