Girls are missing out on tech

Since 1999, the Computer Science AP exam
consistently has had the lowest female
percentage of any AP exam, hovering at 18%.

In 2009, women earned 57% of all
undergraduate degrees and 42% of
undegraduate math degrees.
In the same year, women earned 18% of
undergraduate computing degrees and about
25% of associate or graduate computing
degrees.2
