Heads in the clouds

The Edu-Cloud Consortium—an education industry working group formed to look at the issues and opportunities presented by cloud computing in K-12 education--held its second gathering at ISTE-2010. Participants included educators, administrators, technologists and solution providers. The group intends to gather thought leaders across the spectrum of instruction and technology to work towards its mission of “laying the groundwork for cloud computing in the instructional setting and building up an optimal and shared vision of cloud computing in education overall.” Stay tuned for information about future meetings and ways of becoming involved in the discussion.
