Scholastic and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation recently released the latest Primary Sources study. Here are some key findings:

88% of teachers said they communicate with parents by email.

46% of teachers said they encourage their students to email them.

27% of teachers keep in touch with their students over the summer months.

23% of teachers give their students their phone numbers to reach them.
