Florida School Installs Classroom Sound System

David Posnack Jewish Day School announced today that is has chosen Redcat® from Lightspeed Technologies, Inc. for use in all Lower School classrooms. The system uses proprietary technology to extend a teacher's natural voice to every part of the classroom equally through the use of a wireless microphone. By eliminating variations in volume and "dead zones," Redcat® aims to improve audibility and intelligibility. Research conducted by Lightspeed has demonstrated that enabling students to hear every word no matter where they sit in the classroom improves teacher-student connection and maximizes learning.

Of the new system, Dr. Richard Cuenca, Posnack's Head of School, said: "This is just one important example of how our school uses technology in meaningful ways to improve learning outcomes for our students."
