Georgia's largest school system partners to improve eCLASS

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) today announced that the largest school system in the state of Georgia, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS), has chosen HMH to improve its digital initiatives. This partnership serves to support the GCPS eCLASS (digital Content, Learning, Assessment, and Support System) initiative – a multi-year program to deliver the digital tools that will expand the walls of the classroom, enhance student engagement, and foster greater collaboration.

In order to accomplish this district’s goals, HMH is employing its learning management system, Pinpoint to help equip teachers with knowledge on each student’s progress. That knowledge will be used to devise personalized learning plans and assessments that incorporate HMH’s programs.

The addition of Pinpoint Suite is important to the school system’s eCLASS initiative. Pinpoint Suite will be employed to improve the instructional component of eCLASS, as it allows for teachers to track student progress.
