Make and Share Templates

Tip:
Do you find yourself creating materials over and over again? You can create templates for most of your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations that you later open and adapt, avoiding unnecessary work.

  • Create a blank letterhead template with your logo, name, address, etc.
  • Develop a template for grant proposals, invoices, fax cover sheets, letters, memos, and any other documents you may send regularly.
  • Develop templates that teachers can use or adapt to use with students:
Presentation with placeholders on slides and instructions in the notes.Spreadsheets with formulas and comments that contain instructions.Graphic organizers with blank symbols and detailed instructions.
  • Templates offer you, your teachers, and their students' placeholders for their own information where the notes and comments can contain instructions, tips, and websites.

Templates make your job easier and help your teachers create assignments that offer all the answers to their students. Templates that include notes and instructions make students more responsible for the content and not the technology.
