6/13/2012 12:00:00 AM
By using Quick Time Panoramic, you can examine these twenty-two panoramic photographs of events from 1864 until 1937. A majority of the photographs cover events around World War I. These panoramic images are housed at the National Archives Building in Maryland along with many other examples of panoramic still photography. View the destruction of San Francisco after the earthquake in 1906, and see the flood damage to Seward, Alaska in 1917. Information is given about the source of the photo as well as the size.
