National Gallery: Take One Picture
7/23/2012 12:00:00 AM
A wonderful resource from the National Gallery
in London. The gallery picks one picture per year to use as a resource in primary schools (ages 4-11) as a cross-curricular guide. Follow the process used in the professional development course that teaches teachers how to use the painting in the classroom. Included are references to previous years, displays and videos of students’ work going back to 2001. Teachers’ notes provide background about the featured painting along with suggestions for using the painting in your classroom.courtesy of Knovation
