Califone’s new PA419 is a portable PA with a docking station for iPhones and iPods. Users can play content from the mobile device’s downloaded playlists, stream content, or play audio from the built-in DVD/CD player for groups up to 300 people or in rooms up to 2,000 square feet. The PA has two wireless mic receivers and can even support a third presenter (using a wired mic) at the same time. Presenters can also connect a computer and a projector for full multimedia presentations. The music level automatically decreases when a (wired or wireless) mic is used and will return to the same level once the presenter is finished speaking.
