Teacher Observation is Collaborative in KY Middle School

Western Middle School in Louisville, KY has implemented the observe4success classroom observation and walkthrough software platform.

“We encourage our teachers to use observe4success to identify strengths and weaknesses within the classroom, constructively discuss them, and continuously implement positive changes,” said Western Middle School Assistant Principal Austin Allain. "This observation solution has allowed us to drill down and focus on specific instructional topics, analyze the data, and realize positive growth in individual teachers, departments, and as an entire school in the area of instruction.”

The observe4success platform blends technology, research-based content, customizable observation forms, graphic reports, and peer observation and reporting.

Developed by educators for educators, observe4success started as a grassroots effort to capture and report classroom culture and instructional practice for administrators and peer observers. With observation data collected over time, stored, and sorted, administrators and teachers work together to identify strengths to be highlighted and weaknesses to be supported.
