Texas District Outfits New High School With Digital Devices

Liberty Hill Independent School District has built its new high school with Dell devices in their computer labs and classrooms.

“Liberty Hill is growing rapidly, and we want to be sure our schools continue to support the learning needs of our students and teachers,” says Dr. Rob Hart, Superintendent, Liberty Hill ISD. “Dell’s partnership has been invaluable in our district’s quest to prepare our students for the future and provide them with 21st Century learning tools. Their broad portfolio of technology and years of expertise in education has empowered our IT Department to keep pace with our growing district and easily integrate the latest innovations in the classroom.”

The OptiPlex 3010 will serve as a learning tool students can access in the school’s computer labs to work on assignments and create projects such as digital portfolios and web sites. Inside the classroom, Liberty Hill ISD chose Dell’s Latitude E5530 laptop and cart to mobilize learning and enable students to direct their progress outside of traditional instruction time.

All of Liberty Hill’s endpoints will be centrally managed through software solutions from Dell that includes the KACE K1000 and K2000 appliances.
