Boat Safe: What Clouds Tell Recreational Boaters

6/10/2014 4:00:00 PM
Even if you are not a recreational boater, this site is a great place to learn about clouds and how to use them to help you predict the weather. There’s a great chart showing the kinds of clouds, at what height the type of cloud can be found, and the kinds of clouds in each group. Find informative descriptions of each kind of cloud and how to use the appearance of that cloud in helping forecast coming weather. Two specific weather situations are described that will help in determining the potential advent of dangerous weather.
