Boycotting the Baubles of Britain

Celebrate the Boston Tea Party a few days early with this lesson plan from EDSITEment that looks at British policies enacted in the 1750s and 1760s that fomented political battles between the British and the American colonists. Have your students examine the British commodities available to the colonists, how the colonists used embargoes of these commodities to further their aims, and why the embargoes garnered so much mass support.
