EconEdLink: Competition Pizza

When you have a lesson plan based on pizza, it’s sure to be a winner. Teach your students about competition in the marketplace and how businesses compete for customers. The lesson includes worksheets for students to use in examining competing businesses in their own community. There are also suggestions on how recognize how businesses try to differentiate themselves. There are student activities and assessment activities along with links to national and state standards in both economics and personal finance. You can also view the student version of this lesson from this site. This is a lesson suitable for later elementary students.
