PBS Kids Go: It’s About Time

2/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
Did you know that February is National Time Management Month? This is a well laid-out lesson plan for getting your students to think about budgeting their time wisely. There is an emphasis on equating the concept that time is money, but there are also many suggestions for how students can organize their time. Find charts for students to use to make a daily schedule, a weekly and monthly planner, and a homework chart. Show the video of kids talking about their busy lives and what they try to do to make everything work. There are also several suggestions on how to extend the lesson and links to the time management game and a poem about managing time.
